We are delighted to announce that the Scottish Arbitration Centre will host the 2022 Congress of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) in Edinburgh. This will see the biennial gathering of the world’s preeminent arbitration practitioners come to Europe for the first time in 12 years and, furthermore, the first time ever to Scotland.
The ICCA Congress is the largest regular gathering in the field of international arbitration. It brings together around 1,000 lawyers, arbitrators, academics and other professionals. Over four days, the Congress will feature presentations, discussions and workshops at which the theory and practice of international arbitration is explored at the highest level. The Congress attracts global attention from the legal professions and industry, and receives extensive coverage in the specialist press and wider media.
Key to securing this important and high-profile conference for Scotland was a joined-up approach that demonstrated our commitment to ICCA and the support we have already secured for holding the conference in Scotland. We hope the Congress will secure Scotland’s position as a global centre for commercial arbitration.
Sponsoring the ICCA 2022 Congress will allow your organisation to be associated with one of the most important events in the international legal calendar.
Our conference associates, Conference Partners have created a wide range of different funding options in addition to our flagship Principal, Executive and Associate Partners packages. And we do view this as a partnership.
Our colleagues at Conference Partners, Ashley Cook and her team are committed to ensuring that we deliver the right partnership package for your organisation which delivers the outcomes you need for your business. So our main packages are customisable with many bolt-on options available.
Edinburgh is a friendly and welcoming city and we’re hoping that, as our partners, you’ll be able to contribute to extending that special welcome to our international delegates.
