We are delighted to announce that the Scottish Arbitration Centre will host the 2022 Congress of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) in Edinburgh. This will see the biennial gathering of the world’s preeminent arbitration practitioners come to Europe for the first time in 12 years and, furthermore, the first time ever to Scotland.

The ICCA Congress is the largest regular gathering in the field of international arbitration. It brings together around 1,000 lawyers, arbitrators, academics and other professionals. Over four days, the Congress will feature presentations, discussions and workshops at which the theory and practice of international arbitration is explored at the highest level. The Congress attracts global attention from the legal professions and industry, and receives extensive coverage in the specialist press and wider media.
